In 2025, the competition returns with a fresh look, building on the success of previous seasons and marking a closer collaboration between Panasonic and technical universities and colleges across the country.

Continuing to expand nationwide

In early February 2026, Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam held a ceremony to hand over a sponsorship package of electrical equipment worth 300 million VND and inaugurated a Panasonic practice room at Ly Tu Trong College in Ho Chi Minh City (LTTC). This event not only promotes the partnership between businesses and educational institutions but also allows Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam to contribute to creating a conducive learning environment for students in the Electrical and Electronics sector.

With the desire to continue accompanying and providing opportunities for the young generation of Vietnamese engineers, the Intern Electrical Engineer 2025 competition has introduced a completely new online format, enabling students from partner schools nationwide to participate easily, showcase their abilities, and spread the spirit of community learning. This year, the competition has attracted over 250 potential candidates from various colleges across the country, including Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC), Hanoi Polytechnic College (HACTECH), Hue Industrial College (HUEIC), and Southern General Electric and Agriculture College (CEA).

National Final Round with many practical activities

As they approach the final round of the “Intern Electrical Engineer” competition in 2025, the top four teams have had the opportunity to visit the Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam factory in Binh Duong. During this visit, contestants learned about the production lines, technologies, and processes that create Panasonic’s electrical equipment. The tour also included small challenges to help teams accumulate extra points for the finals.

Entering the national final round, all four teams expressed their utmost determination to win the championship trophy. Mr. Giang Chau Tuan Dung – Product Manager of Panasonic Electrical Equipment shared: “Not only do you possess good professional knowledge, but you also have the ability to handle situations, adapt flexibly, as well as a high level of technical skills. This further strengthens my confidence that the future of the Electrical and Electronics sector in Vietnam will be very promising in the coming years.”

The final round of the “Intern Electrical Engineer” competition in 2025 consists of three challenges: “Connecting Knowledge,” “Connection Challenge,” and “Illuminating the Future.” Teams must apply their professional knowledge, circuit design skills, hands-on experience, and teamwork to complete the challenges set by the judges.

After intense rounds of competition and evaluations by the judges—leading experts in the field—the team that successfully lifted the championship trophy was the Industrial Electricity Team from Thu Duc College of Technology (TDC). The second place went to the THN team from Hue Industrial College (HUEIC), and the third-place awards were shared by two teams: New Generation Refrigeration (Southern General Electric and Agriculture College) and Determination (Hanoi Polytechnic College).

Contributing to the development of technical human resources

Not only is it an academic competition, but the program also serves as a bridge for students to interact, learn, and build a network within the industry. After the competition, teams had the opportunity to meet and interact with representatives from Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam during a Gala Dinner hosted by the organizers.

Through the competition, Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam continues to affirm its commitment to accompany education and training in the field of Electricity and Electronics. This is also one of the activities that reflect Panasonic Group’s philosophy of contributing to society.

In the future, the program is expected to continue expanding to become a larger playground for engineering students nationwide, while promoting many collaborative activities with schools such as professional workshops, scholarship programs, and practical training projects.
